Tahiti,
know as the island of breezes, is the highest island
in Polynesia, with the biggest volcanic peak of Orohena
reaching 2241 m.
|
Our
Pension is nestled on the west coast of the island in
a coral gate of marvelous, tranquil turquoise lagoons
with radiant white sand and underwater fauna, wich can
give the impression of diving into an aquarium.
|
Opposite
is the east coast of the island, where the sand is
black; it gets the brunt of the pacific current, with
strong waves suitable mostly for surfing.
|
Papeete
city is the business and shopping center of French
Polynesia.

Pension de la Plage is in the west coast town
of Punaauia, 15.4 Km from Papeete.

We are 100 m across from the white sand beach of
Toaroto, where you can bathe and play in the laggon.
